Founded in 1962 and located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, the 510th Research Institute of the Fifth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (external name: Lanzhou Institute of Space Technology Physics) is the earliest professional research institute engaged in vacuum science and technology in China. Now it is affiliated to the China Academy of Space Technology, which is the first batch of units directly engaged in the development of space vehicles in China, and is the backbone unit and key military protection unit in the field of space technology in China, with more than 10 aerospace professional products such as electric propulsion systems, tank gas cylinders, secondary power supplies, and high-performance atomic clocks, and has developed new scientific payloads such as electric field measuring instruments, space mass spectrometers, and lunar soil encapsulation devices. Among the more than 100 satellites and ship models launched by China, 510 important products have been installed, and have been expanded and applied to China's important strategic and tactical weapons and equipment, and have always maintained a record of 100% success rate in a flight, making outstanding contributions to China's aerospace industry and national defense. Lanzhou Aerospace Science and Technology Park has successively completed the construction of satellite tank gas cylinder research and development plant, power center, manned space building, comprehensive scientific research building, testing and test center, etc., with a total of more than 90,000 square meters of construction. The commissioning of the new park will further optimize the scientific research and production environment of 510 institutes, greatly enhance the scientific research and production capacity, and provide a broader platform for the integration and development of military and civilian development of 510 institutes.
